Easter Bunny quilt

The little guy is a sample block from our new bed quilt. In the end, it’ll be a variation on an Irish chain.

The big guy is the Easter Bunny top—or, at least, the beginnings of it. Initially, it will be just a checkerboard arrangement. However, after the checkerboard is complete, I’ll be using a specialty ruler to hack it up into blocks that will be sewn into a new grid. I’m optimistic about the outcome but know I have to have a lot of patience during this first stage.

16 completed blocks! These, plus another 8 I’d made previously, amount to half a quilt top.

Ponytail hat in brown

This is the back side of the hat. On the left side, under the flap, I still need to add buttons, but once that is done, the wearer will be able to button the bottom part under their ponytail! It’s such a smart design.
